I always painted and drew. The first pictures that I made with a camera were of my many pets, 8 years old. They would die. I would bury them in the mountains behind my home, dig them up later and photograph them over and over again. One day my photographs were gone.

I went to art school, been a master printer, printed Weegee negs, gallery worker, archivist, film historian, exhibited my work, photo dealer, junk store manager.
